Overview

Highspot, a leading sales enablement platform, is dedicated to fostering a diverse, equitable, inclusive, and belonging (DEI&B) workplace culture. I was honored to lead the design for their DEI&B program, which involved creating logos for employee resource groups (ERGs), custom illustrations, and a variety of marketing materials, infographics, event visuals, and digital assets that aligned with the program’s message of embracing diversity and inclusivity.

CHALLENGE

The challenge in designing Highspot's DEI&B program was creating a cohesive visual identity for diverse ERGs while aligning with the company’s DEI&B values. This required in-depth research and collaboration with ERG leaders through workshops to capture their unique missions. Additionally, crafting inclusive illustrations that resonated with a wide audience and coordinating a smooth rollout with internal teams added complexity, ensuring the assets were impactful and aligned with the program’s messaging.

PROCESS

1. Research and Discovery
I began by thoroughly researching Highspot's DEI&B program, its core values, and each ERG's unique identity.

2. Individual ERG Logos
Working closely with ERG leaders, I developed adaptable logos for each group, reflecting their focus, mission, and values through workshops and feedback sessions.

3. Custom Illustrations
I created a library of diverse, inclusive illustrations celebrating various cultures, identities, and experiences.

4. Marketing Collateral
Idesigned brochures, posters, social media graphics, presentation, and email templates to promote Highspot’s DEI&B initiatives.

5. Implementation and Rollout
After finalizing the designs, I collaborated with internal teams to ensure a smooth implementation and rollout of the assets.

Impact

The DEI&B visual assets and program branding successfully enhanced Highspot's commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. The individual ERG logos helped create a sense of identity and community among employees, while the custom illustrations added visual interest and representation. The marketing collateral effectively communicated the DEI&B initiatives, resulting in increased employee engagement and participation.
